on the afternoon of january 13, 2021, sep party secretary and chairman hu jiandong went to caojing cogeneration to conduct a research together with a delegation.
after listening to the report of caojing cogeneration on production and operation, party building, talent construction, and key tasks in 2021, hu stressed that the power plant should aim at achieving "peak carbon emissions" by 2030 and "carbon neutrality" by 2060 as proposed by the central government, and take spic's "first-class strategy in 2035" as the guidance, lead all the staff to further improve the sense of innovation, and face the challenges in the process of transformation and development with a realistic and pragmatic attitude.
hu jiandong put forward a few requirements as follows: first, do a good job in assessing the incremental energy consumption in shanghai chemical industry park (scip), vigorously develop renewable energy, and make positive contributions to the goals of "carbon emissions peak" and "carbon neutrality"; second, complete the construction of the energy station of science and technology innovation center in scip outstandingly, and utilize the heat network resources more efficiently; third, continue to explore the potential in the position design and employment method of employees, and cultivate the talents.
