shanghai municipal leader hu wenrong inspects caojing power plant
on september 13, 2021, hu wenrong, a standing committee member of the cpc shanghai committee and head of organization department of the municipal party committee, conducted a research on caojing power plant with a delegation. member of the standing committee of the shanghai municipal committee and minister of the organization department of the municipal committee, and his party investigated caojing power plant. liang jingjun, director of general office of organization department of the municipal party committee, xin yadong, deputy secretary of jinshan district party committee, and ma jing, secretary of party leadership group and director of shanghai chemical industry park (scip) administration committee, participated in the research. sep party secretary and chairman hu jiandong also attended the above event.
hu wenrong and his delegation went straight to the central control room of the power plant, and learned in detail about the production, operation and environmental protection emissions of the two 1000 mw class units as well as the coal supply, sludge disposal and heat supply. he spoke highly of the work done by the power plant, and expressed greetings to the frontline workers sticking to their posts during the typhoon.
during the research, ma jing and hu jiandong held an in-depth exchange on the implementation of china's targets of peaking carbon emissions before 2030 and achieving carbon neutrality before 2060, focusing on scientific, green and clean development.
