sep unveils staff photography, calligraphy, painting exhibition
on august 2, 2019, sep held the opening ceremony for the company's staff photography, calligraphy and painting exhibition titled "stay true to original aspirations, keep mission in mind and witness hundred-year electricity with light and shadow" solemnly and simply at the former site of steam turbine room of sep yangshupu power plant, an outstanding historical building of shanghai. sep party secretary and chairman wang yundan, deputy party secretary and labor union chairman gu ai, and party committee member and cfo chen wenhao attended the opening ceremony. director of publicity and education department of shanghai federation of trade unions chen bihua, publicity division head of cpc shanghai municipal commission of economy and informatization chen bo, vice chairman of china electricity photographers association cai jianping, and wang haitao and bai lu from spic fourth inspection team were invited to attend the ceremony and visit the exhibition.
in his opening address, wang yundan noted that the exhibition is an important part of sep's solid implementation of the party's education campaign themed "staying true to our founding mission" and series of activities to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of new china, which fully demonstrate the rapid progress made by the company in always adhering to its original aspiration and mission of "seeking happiness for the people and striving for rejuvenation for the nation", insisting on "inheritance, innovation and excellence", walking thousands of miles with "three thousands" hardworking spirit, persisting in closely relying on the staff, and advancing clean energy development and multinational operation development resolutely.
centering on the themes of historical inheritance, project construction, innovative development, staff style, etc., the exhibition condensed 146 projects into 200-plus photos, which reviewed the difficulties and hardships we had undergone and overcome as well as the achievements we had made. it is not only a vivid record of sep's exploration, innovation and constant struggle, but also a new journey as we set sail again in a new era and press ahead to build a world-class enterprise, wang said.
wang hoped the staff photography, calligraphy and painting exhibition could encourage all the cadres and staff to stay true to original aspirations, keep mission in mind, proceed with firm confidence and enterprising spirit, closely focus on the construction of "five centers" and enhancement of "four major brands" in shanghai as well as spic's "first-class strategy in 2035", aim to become the pioneer and pacesetter of spic in building a world-class clean energy enterprise, and make greater contributions to the realization of the "two centenary goals" of china.
a total of over 150 people joined in the opening ceremony and visited the exhibition, including guests from china electricity photographers association, shanghai electricity photographers association and shanghai calligraphers association, and representatives of sep party members and staff.
the exhibition, which will last for two months, is kept available for all the staff of sep.
