2019 is the 70th anniversary of the founding of the people's republic of china, a year of decisive victory for realizing the first centenary goal of building a moderately prosperous society in all respects, a year for shanghai to fully implement the three significant new tasks assigned by the central government, the first year for spic to build a world-class clean energy enterprise, and also a year for sep to press ahead with sweat and toil.
this year, we closely focused on spic's "first-class strategy in 2035", solidly pushed forward various aspects of work, forged ahead and made remarkable achievements. the company insisted on value creation, and accomplished the profit assessment goal two months in advance, with the net profit attributable to the parent company improving greatly and reaching 3,494 consecutive days of safe operation with zero accident. a series of important matters closely related to the company's sustainable development have been successfully completed. in addition, the party's education campaign themed "staying true to our founding mission" showed marked success, the key tasks of "two-hundred action" comprehensive reform made steady progress, and the enterprise have stimulated its innovation vitality, with the creative force further released.
this year, we gave full play to the capacity for overfulfilling tasks, and completed the key tasks for jykj system comprehensively. the company steadily promoted the preliminary work of heavy-duty gas turbine project, actively boosted the development of hydrogen energy project, and strove to become the pioneer and pacesetter of implementing spic's strategy. we carefully summarized the cooperation model of malta project and delivered a report to the central government, carried out the energy planning for the zero-carbon island in malta, and assisted spic in enhancing its influence in the mediterranean region. stable progress has been made in the development of clean energy, which accounts for more than 45 percent of the total energy mix, with a further increase year on year. moreover, we attempted to develop in symbiosis with urban ecology, with new breakthroughs made as an ecological integrator. in the process of pursuing high-quality development of "overseas, offshore and shanghai", mozura wind power project in montenegro realized commercial operation, and hunutlu thermal power plant project in turkey started construction with high quality; fengxian offshore wind power project in shanghai has won the bid successfully, and bozhong offshore wind power project in shandong province has obtained the preliminary demonstration work approval; minhang gas turbine project broke ground, along with innovative development in a number of integrated smart energy projects.
this year, we achieved excellent quality management, continued to increase investment in innovation, and further enhanced the brand influence of spic. we have been awarded a series of major honors such as global performance excellence awards (gpea) - world class, the highest prize of the 19th gpea granted by asia pacific quality organization (apqo), shanghai municipal quality gold award in 2018, the 18th china quality award, second prize of shanghai municipal science and technology award, national integrity management model unit in 2018 and china's aaa-level credit enterprise. furthermore, we conducted the signing of strategic agreement between spic, shanghai municipal government, shanghai electric group co., ltd. and shanghai jiao tong university, as well as the strategic agreements with yangpu district government and minhang district government respectively, implemented the guarantee task of the second china international import expo (ciie) with a high standard, receiving a number of commendations from spic and relevant departments of shanghai municipal government, and the relationship with the government reached a new level. over the past year, sep has been frequently reported by cctv, people's daily, xinhua news agency and other domestic mainstream media, international organizations and foreign media, which further enhanced the overseas reputation and influence of the company.
