(icbc turkey) held the 2019 customer appreciation meeting with the theme of "creating value with one heart, joining hands for a new journey" in istanbul, turkey, where sep turkish subsidiary won the "best bank-enterprise cooperation prize in 2019".
hunutlu thermal power plant project, affiliated to turkey emba electricity production inc. (emba), sep's turkish subsidiary, is financed with a 15-year $1.381 billion loan by a syndicate composed of china development bank (cdb), icbc and bank of china (boc). as the owner of china's largest direct investment project in turkey, emba has established extensive contacts with a number of financial institutions including icbc turkey.
around 300 representatives from chinese consulate general in istanbul, chinese-funded enterprises in turkey and turkish business community attended the event.
